The Cast

Ashley Greenwood is a Chicago-based actor, writer, director, dramaturg, and singer. She graduated with a BFA in Acting from Ball State University in 2017 and is represented by Big Mouth Talent. Some past credits include Now and Then at Oil Lamp Theater, Out of Love at Interrobang Theatre Project, Goose at Prop Thtr (Rhino Fest), Sacrilege: A Nativity Story at The Annoyance Theatre, and To Kill A Mockingbird at Oak Park Festival Theatre. Ashley was a featured performer in Kristen Chenoweth’s Concert at the Honeywell Center in Wabash, Indiana. She thoroughly enjoys cabaret work and wrote and produced her own cabaret titled I Don’t Care: An Homage to Judy Garland, at Davenport’s Piano Bar and Cabaret. Ashley also starred in Indiana Public Radio’s Miracle on 34th Street. She assistant directed The Revolutionists at Oil Lamp Theater and served as the dramaturg on that show, as well. Hair Wraith is a very special and personal project for Ashley, and she is very proud to be a part of it. Ashley hopes to perform in more horror films in the future and hopes that more horror films will be written, directed, and acted by strong, amazing women.

Amelia Mahrie is a Chicago-based actress who has starred in numerous award-winning student, short, and feature-length films. Although she was born in Wisconsin, she discovered her love of acting while living overseas in Malaysia and Germany; she has since appeared in over 35 films. Amelia is currently attending Columbia College Chicago to major in Acting and minor in Stage Combat. Some career highlights include Atomic Hearts by Story Is Everything, The Legend of Rudy by Arrival Studios, and the upcoming fan film Spider-Gwen: Last Dance.

Annie Bayliss was born and raised in Chicago and lives with her husband and three kids on the Northside. She has been a yoga instructor for several years, encouraging strength, and self-love, and always pushing her students to go after the life they dream of. Often asking them “if not now, then when?!” So one day she woke up and decided to heed her own advice! Always feeling the pull towards acting, but too scared to go for it, she found a groupon for a class and marched in thinking “Well I’ll either hate it, pass out from nervousness, or love it”…..well she LOVED it and there’s no sign of her giving up on her dream anytime soon! When Annie is not coaching one of her kids’ sports teams or cheering from the sidelines, you can find her at one of her husband’s concerts or doing yoga.

Nola Bayliss was born in Chicago and has two older brothers. She loves puppies, and hummus, spending time with her family, and going to her brothers’ sporting games. She is very excited to start 2nd grade because she loves learning new things! Nola loves spending time with her friends and playing soccer, softball, and basketball. She is also part of the local theater where she takes classes and puts on plays.
